When we return to Spain we join a fantastic walking group. Thanks to the efforts of Roger and Bill we have enjoyed multiple scenic hikes in the mountains around Alicante. Their frequent scouting walks have helped them to organize many wonderful circular routes that allow us unbelievable views and some good exercise as well. ... the ridges. We could see some signs of the recent rainfall, there was some erosion and a few puddles of water...generally a rare sight in this part of Spain. Eventually we came to an old ruin where we stopped for lunch. Then we finished our hike, climbing back along the side of the ridge to complete the circle and return to our cars.
