Had an interesting evening with Luis and some of the locals. Immersion spanish is always a great way to refresh your understanding of the language. A storm had blown in and the rain was coming down and it got quite cool. Of course we were able to get to our room without getting wet. Nice evening.

After finding our way down from the road to the water, we set an alarm on our phone so we wouldn't miss the bus, and then we walked into the river. We've also noticed that at the touristy places it takes forever to get your mediocre food where the native costa Rican food comes right away. We will definitely continue to visit the Sodas here and try any new foods that they offer us. Enjoy some of the food porn pictures that we've taken since we arrived.
As we begin our fourth week in Costa Rica, we've had quite a few experiences with grocery shopping here. As we already mentioned, we do have a pretty set diet of foods that we typically eat throughout the week.

... or relax and watch movies. I have started hitch hiking into town every second day to buy a cheap juice and then come back. The process usually takes about 2 hours for one juice I could get in town in 3 minutes but the satisfaction of doing something during the day makes up for it.
