      ... says it's probably 1000 Rupees/mo for 8 cleans with about 4-5 people on the street that get their car cleaned. If it's about 60 Rupees to the dollar, then it's $16 for the month.

      Street cleaners are no different. They have a set number of people in the morning that they sweep the driveways and streets. However these are government workers. I'm a little blown away from this notion though. The sweep is just the boughs like broom ends that are held together with twine. ...

      ... mental maths skills to the limit! I never wanted to go back to Maths after GCSE, and I'm sticking to that thought, teaching it is one thing but being taught it by 10 year olds was very painful for me!

      ... learning a lot about India. I now know not to ever book a sleeper again unless they can sit me next to a girl. We arrived after 10 AM and that means the journey was over 16 hours. It's no wonder this country is poor as hell. It was a 500 KM trip, which is 300 miles or the equivalent from Seattle to Spokane. I've done that trip in 4 hours before. Japan's bullet trains can do the journey in 2 hours and somehow India makes it more than 16 hours. ...
