Dinner was at a gorgeous place called Le Tremail where we tried some escargot (snails) and seafood. To our surprise, the kids loved the snails and asked for more after trying them. Great stuff kids! ... close to the old city which has beautiful coloured houses along the river. We were really in the Spanish way of life, finishing a leisurely lunch at 4pm. ... and Michael (a Dutch couple). We explored uncrowded beach coves in the off-season chilly weather, built fires in the fireplace and played vigorous, soggy soccer among the olive trees in the backyard. As we checked out, Violetta paid us a high compliment. She said: It is a happy family that can be together in a house in the rain.
