Venice
... we were tired of looking at glass. Anoop picked up some neat cufflinks and a small clock as souvenirs. For lunch we went to a small restaurant and sat outside to enjoy our piadina and salad. There were some amazing statues made of glass scattered throughout the island and we enjoyed stopping to check them out. After a lot of browsing and purchasing, we headed back to the vaporetto stop to catch the boat over to the island of Burano.

... run in the morning was gorgeous. I went back to St Mark’s Square with Ben and then back by myself and ran on the edge of the Grand Canal. I realized what I loved about running no matter where I am. I love to see people start their day. I love to see the shops opening the deliveries being made and garbage being cleaned up.
