... whole way with some minor separation on the hills. We finished well within the cut off without over exerting ourselves.

At the finish, there’s an athletes village with lots of food and drink (and a merry-go-round) and now we’re back at the hotel, cleaning up and resting before we have to go up to the briefing for tomorrow.

... it would be to go up. So we did. With no idea what was up top we took the 10 Euro ride up thinking we could grab a coffee from the hotel and enjoy the vista. The ride up was spectacular: beautiful rocky outcrops, mountain and valley views from every angle from our cute yellow cable car. Once on top we were in for more of a surprise, this place wasn't just a hotel, it was a village, a village by the name of Montserrat and home to the Monestir de Monsterrat (monastery) and all ...

    Jaca to Andorra

No breakfast at the hotel so we decided to leave earlier at 8am, a welcome cool start to he day, the weather forecast was storms in Andorra, the weather along the route was fantastic and the scenery again was amazing. Unfortunately not any vista points were visited so no pics, try better tomorrow. The hairpins and bends along the route were tricky at times and Rogers footplates took a bit of wear as they scrapped ...
