Akumal has been so wonderful to us. It's given us so many opportunities to travel to new places and to meet new people. It just so happens that the people we met while in Isla Mujeres followed us to Akumal.

At Xelha they drive you to the head of a river that is flowing out to sea. It was full of mangroves, very cool, except I brained myself on a root. We floated/paddled slowly out to to sea. Russ got tired though, & we had to quit about 3/4 the way down.
Grounds are beautiful, everything is well run. It cost a lot, but we had a nice time. Food & unlimited drinks are included - ...
