... came over with the news he picked up on his satellite from Phoenix. Apparently it was a drug cartel situation and there were 5 killed in the apartments down the beach including those in the truck we saw. In hindsight, driving around yesterday we saw a silver Rolls Royce with oversized tires on it driving in the the direction of the hotels...something really out of place and you have to wonder if they were not part of the final scenario.....more rumors to monger.
... of the area and there are vendors everywhere trying to sell you their shrimp. We were able to get the name of a trustworthy vendor and headed into another part of town to buy his shrimp. His shop was just a hole in the wall but he had good shrimp and he cleaned the shrimp for us. We headed for a grocery store to get what we needed for the week to eat.

It starts out early in the morning with shrimp salesmen followed by the tamale lady and then the vendors start. Bowls, hats, toys, tables, jewelery, more jewelery, blankets, donuts, cookies, more jewelery, the torilla lady, fishing trips, metal flowers, plates and of course a little more jewelery. You have to feel for these poor people, they live on corn, beans and rice and work their buns off ...

As we made it back to the RV park we had time to relax get something cold to drink.. Rowdy drank his fill of water and as we looked out the window we saw the daily trip through the park of the Federal Police... 4 of them in a side x side ...
