I quickly unpacked and talked with Oscar the manager to get some some hot tips on where to eat. I went to Marry's and had some amazing shrimp tacos and a couple beers and it was time to call it a night. ...

We're sitting in the RV relaxing and getting stuff put away and cleaned up and we hear this thump/rattle on the outside of the RV… checking it out, we find Gracie on our doorstep ... One of Dale's dogs has wandered out of camp and headed to our camp... she's been here daily as we go walking with Dale and his dogs in the morning so she comes into the trailer, makes herself ...
... there was a lot of black smoke so maybe it was the dump and there were tires burning? We finally arrived to where we could actually see flames, The Red Dragon! It turned out to be a wild fire, mostly brush . . . There were several fire trucks and police vehicles. As we were leaving we saw one very interesting water truck and one ambulance. There were NO sirens!

2011 oh my..it seems like so long ago but really it was just a few years ago..Rocky Point, Mexico is only about a 5hr drive from PHX, just another reason why I love AZ. We went down for July 4th weekend. Stayed on Las Conchas beach at Las Palmeras, rented through Oceano Rentals (http://www.oceano-rentals.com/property _details.aspx?P=5A00B). The house was a little outdated but still good = ) anything literally right on the beach is good in my book.
