Water water everywhere....
... we motored around for awhile waiting for the sailboat boat to fill up. 45 minutes later (they filled their water too!) they left and a large power boat pulled in. Of course Juan the attendant waved them in ahead of us as. Another hour puttering around in circles until a 60 foot sailboat meandered in line and of course they were waved in ahead of us.

... you alone! This is a new experience and i like it! I am picking up more and more bits of Spanish every day and am finding that when someone says something to me in Spanish, in context like in a shop or bus etc, i understand them. I really really have to get some lessons done soon and i kind of planned on doing some in Escondido for a week and then decided not to as i fancied moving on. One of the luxuries of having your own itinerary.

Fun in Puerto Escondido
... because its wave is about as good and strong as its Hawaiian cousin. The beach is very long and you will find palapas, restaurants, bars, surf shops and souvenir stores almost all along.
Further South, where the sandy beach meets rocks, is Punta Zicatela, or "La Punta", a surf spot with a slightly smaller and more manageable ...

... and most Mexican's refusal to communicate in English we thought that having 2 tickets for 2 taxi's was pretty straight forward, turns out it wasn't! We caused a massive upheaval! We packed up 2 taxi's handed the drivers our tickets to which they stated that we hadn't paid enough to go into the city and they wanted more money - the first Taxi driver after many minutes of arguing unpacked all our things from his car and drove off in a furious rage leaving us ...
El paraiso
... pour 100 pesos. Yipieeeee!!!!! Le tour est génial on voit plein d'oiseaux, iguanas, termites ... et finalement un fait une pause au pardis: Puerto Suelo. Je n'ai jamais vu un lieu si joli et quasi sans touristes ... je commande un coco frais et me balade un peu sur l'īle (attention le sable brūle les pieds, lol) je parle un peu avec le proprio pour voir comment ca se passe sur l'īle et d'autant plus au niveau de tourisme... ne plus envie ...
