The next morning I awoke to a great deal of humidity...which was a great excuse to jump in the ocean. The water was great, as was the sand between my toes. But I had a long, winding road ahead of me today, so I packed up my stuff, said adios to all the great people I'd met, and headed toward Oaxaca City. Overall, I'd say Puerto Escondido was pretty...great.

... I was ambushed and forced to take a large shot of tequila! But I can promise you that although alcohol was consumed by me…….all weekend it was just enough to make it fun but not too much to leave that yucky morning after feeling! Mind you I estimated that I probably had around 6 hours sleep in total all weekend as we left on Friday evening and got back around 8am on Monday morning. We pulled up to the fuel dock and took on 130 liters of diesel to top the tanks and then started to fill our water tanks. But there was another sailboat waiting to come to the dock for fuel and we got kicked off to allow them in. We radioed the marina office to discover where we could get water and if we could get a mooring and were told to go to the fuel dock for water and yes we could get a very expensive ...
