Found another great beach to spend some time. We have. Had some technical difficulties so haven't been blogging much. Just golfing and enjoying the sunshine. This really is an amazing place if you love the beach. The food is good in all the restaurants too. Some times the menu is a bit too English for my taste but lots of Local Portuguese fare as well. ... we arrived at the hotel. The N125 is okay, a little rough in places and you need to drive along it in case you miss some gems.

Being hot and bothered we had a great swim then rested up. Helen was very taken with a drink made of something like Cointreau with mint, 7up ice and a dried orange concentrate. ... off with the local ham - very nice. One of the points of interest is the number of expat Poms in Portugal - those characters in the Benedorm programme are not far off the mark. Some are pretty tragic but I don't think many parts of Coastal Portugal would survive without their money.

Anyway, it's time for breakfast then off to the Tourist Centre to plan our day. We intend to head east along the Algarve find. Spot for 1 or 2 days before heading to Spain.

Wow after a great week of hanging out we headed off to cooking school. This school is also a working horse ranch. We helped prepare meals for the tourists and family.
