Short Drive today from Kelowna BC to Castlegar. Nice drive. Big river in Castlegar, the Solcan and the Columbia Rivers meet so much clear water. I must say the tap water over here is like drinking rain water. Have only had to buy two bottles of water and keep refilling them. Off to See Mindy Creber tomorrow in Cranbrook BC. Will be great to see her again and hear about how all the kids are doing.... Getting a tad excited ...

... it didnt even feel like the festival had ended, we were planning on exploring more of BC and Vancouver Island. We left Salmo and stayed in a cabin along the kokanee lake that a friend of ours brother owned. And they had made us pie! fresh from the orchards.There was a bear living in the area that would come into the yard and eat the fruit, we never saw him while we were there, the orchard was amazing!!! with HEAPS of blueberries, peaches and apples. YUM! ...

... as the sun continues to come out, we start looking at other trails that may be open and often find ourselves pushing through snow (Hike-a-Bike!).
