After a very luxurious and restful sleep at the Prestige, we packed up and drove into town to find some food. There was a cute looking diner on Baker st with a Greek flair to the menu. We would definitely be keen to try Red again when there was snow, the town was really cool and the people were lovely, you could tell it was a tight knit community and everyone is right into their skiing.

The Whitewater ski resort is very close to Nelson and Mark & Jeff had such a great time there last year we couldn't resist. Also we have some more snow in the forecast and Whitewater tends to get roughly double the amount of snow that Red Mountain gets so things are looking good for more pow. Stay tuned...

... to snowshoe around and started to head up to the Sunspot Cabin but instead of continuing on up to the cabin, we took another, lower path and just walked along that for a bit. No real destination. We thought there was a cabin around but didn't really know where so just turned around eventually. On the way back, however, Adam invented yet another sport: Freestyle Snowshoeing. Yes folks, get ready! It's going to be ...
