Down Day... but Oh Boy!
... unabated- not unexpected. However, with time the percolation slowed and finally stopped late in the afternoon. Having been subjected to the evil forces of nature throughout the day, it was decided to reward ourselves with a special evening meal but that required a trek by Allison and Roger up “our hill” to the Tutto per Tutti grocery- actually one of our favorite places in Italy thus far- great fruit and veggies and friendly proprietors. ...
Day in Praiano
... our climb up the stairs. (Yesterday too). I thought it was the DT’s! After-all we were running low on vino, since we were imbibing both at lunch and dinner. We got ibuprofen, although not quite as expected, lost in translation was the fact that it was a powder.
"Home" again without meat or wine since the butcher, we are told, had the best wine too. He is closed on Mondays! But not to worry ...
