There wasn't actually that much in the way of food, mainly clothes and home wear, so we just got the necessities to keep us going.
The next day we headed for Trestles, a famous surf sport that Dan wanted to check out, which was just south of San Clemente. The beach was pretty nice and there was a bit of surf but nothing big. We sat there and watched the surfers for about an hour and I was trying to watch ...
... until you see the effort they went to for our farewell gift! It's a beauty...and hilarious!
So to wrap up the USA part of our blog we want to say a big thanks to all of my family. We honestly couldn't have included the States in our adventure if it wasn't for you and your amazing generosity (and for marrying top guys that manage to take you across the world!) Update 2:30 pm PDT: Anthony ended up walking away with $125 of Vegas' money. It was a nice taste of the Vegas experience but we will definitely have to come back. We have crossed the border ...
