Casa Angkor is located in a quiet backstree area of the old French quarter of Siem Reap. It is a pleasant hotel with swimming pool and nice rooms, staff is friendly and helpful. Only thing is that we would have liked fresh fruitjuice and coffee without vanilla taste!

In fact our tuk tuk driver proved most useful, we managed to (with a bit of haggling) book into a nice hotel, about a ten minute walk into town, with satellite TV and breakfast...

    SR-ing around

Post NY's celebrations witnessed some very subdued activity as the sun emerged on January 1st. A few bloodshot eyes and rancid alcohol breath called for serious caffeine infusion. There was no urgency to see anything specifically so we gratefully did nothing the entire day.
