... in their lives and I don't want to just be here! I will surely miss out on things that are bigger than my tiny little life in North Carolina if I don't get out. I got out of the tiny little town of Hendersonville and I sure as hell will get out of the not-so-tiny little country of the United States of America. Let's do this thing! 5 days, 14 hours, 8 minutes, and 56... 55... 54 seconds
... and twist/bang the **** out of my foot. It swelled so big I couldn't even fit my climbing shoe back on... so after this I became what is knows as "Belay *****." Lee had a great climb sesh though. He onsighted some 11's and we giggle at a pompous guide hanging around the crag trying to be big and bad.
I will return and conquer the other routes without incident!

The morning after our stay in the terrific Alpen Acres motel, Stef had a visitor come to bid her a safe journey, a super affectionate cat. Well, she was affectionate to Stef anyway! Whilst Stef was lapping up all the pats and rubs, shortly afterwards I too was enjoying some loving from this super affectionate kitty. Until the point I was used as a sparring partner, being bopped left right & centre from the midst of a purring coma. Bloody cats, so unpredictable! ...
