We planned to get around a fair bit today and so grabbed a day pass on the hop on/hop off LA service. This would let us connect to a network of buses which could get us all over. We caught our first bus up on Santa Monica Blvd, and headed out and down through Beverly Hills where we transferred to a service out to Santa Monica Beach. We had an authentic American dinner at Johnny Rocket's diner before heading back to our hotel in Hollywood.

... to do and not do when snorkeling in the bay (if you sign the guest register after the movie, if you return to the bay within 365 days you won’t need to watch the movie again). I brought my own mask and snorkel but rented fins and a locker for my things. The snorkeling in the bay was quite good since the depth is fairly shallow, you could see a lot of fish. I saw the biggest parrotfish I’ve ever seen in my life; this thing was huge.

I got the 3:30pm bus ...
