After an early dinner it was time to go. We bid farewell to our new friends and made our way back to the coast with fond memories, some delicious tequila and the agave cream that I had come hoping to find. Arturo, while encouraging us to return to his beautiful city also assured me that if I wanted more of Izmael's special cream he would send some to me. Time for family, time for self, and time in general is regarded differently in Mexico. For example, my day begins at 9:30 a.m. and I work until around 2:30 p.m. The largest meal of the day is the afternoon meal (so we can work off the calories during the rest of the day!) which is around 3:00 p.m. After the afternoon meal, I have time to myself until 5:00 p.m. This time is usually spent taking a "siesta" or nap.
