On our way back to Chicago we also stopped at Lansing and Muskegon (on the shore of Lake Michigan across from Milwaukee). The small town of Muskegon boasts a WWII submarine museum. As anyone who's ever flown thru O'Hare knows, it can be the delay capital of the planet. This trip was no exception, as we were informed of delay after delay for four hours until they decided to take our plane out of service at 9 pm. We were put up for the night (sans luggage), given food vouchers and the expectation of departing the next morning.
