    ... amp; Patrick were staying in the adjaent campground in their motorhome, Fortunately we were able to have a good catch up the next day when they visited us here in Ridgecrest.

    We will probably leave here tomorrow, Monday heading off on our own. Probably to Death Valley initially then south, bypasing Las Vegas and into Arizona, around Flagstaff.... or then again....

    ... salt flat which again was on par with the Grand Canyon. We then drove to Zabriskie point which is famous for its views. Mark thought it looked like ice cream, I think he has ice cream on the brain. We then carried on to the visitors centre for a drink and…….surprise…… ;.an ice cream before drive another hour to Badwater, stopping off to see the amazing rock formations called Artist Palette ...

    Dude...standing here, surrounded by nothing than stones, far away hills, and probably a million rattlesnakes, is an experience I've never had before...
    And still...I feel that comfort when u finally stand in a place u dreamed about ever since u were 11 and played Mario Kart 64 ;)
