      ... mountains farther north were open, but required chains on all tires. There was no way across the mountains for us that did not require an extended drive. The passes were going be closed for several days. We had to give up on Yosemite.

      Dude...standing here, surrounded by nothing than stones, far away hills, and probably a million rattlesnakes, is an experience I've never had before...
      And still...I feel that comfort when u finally stand in a place u dreamed about ever since u were 11 and played Mario Kart 64 ;)
