    Better than the Casinos

This is great secret place. Across the road from the Aladdin mid strip one block back. I had a one bedroom suite. Huge kitched and living area and very classy bedroom and bathroom. Well furnished. In room safes Restraurant on top of the hotel is a great place to chill out with good food after the insanity of the strip. Staff are very friendly.

Laundries on each floor are a big help if you are staying a while.

Online booking at the hotel web site is very efficient. Am staying there again in January.

    A Great Stay

A home away from home! This hotel was a long block from the strip, but centrally located mid-strip for getting to points north and south on foot if needed. We had a 2 doubles studio room. Room had a great layout and was quiet, cool and clean. It is not a deluxe hotel by my standards and has a feel like a Hilton Garden Inn or better Hampton Inn, but was a nice hotel. Staff was personable and this is what makes this hotel stand out. They were the best! The only thing I did not like: I had a non smoking room, but since our floor was a mixed floor, I could smell smoke. Ask for a dedicated no smoking floor if you detest smoke. Also, the pool is not as glamorous as the photos, but clean. It is in the middle of the parking lot.

We may stay there next time if the rates are right.

    Great stay at Carriage House!!

Home away from home just off the Strip! Wonderful staff, especially Bobbi, the concierge. Very friendly and accomodating during the entire stay. Extra clean rooms! The pool area is immaculate and relaxing. No slot temptations when getting back to your room. Highly recommend!!

Looking forward to staying here again!

We stayed here for five nights back in February. The amenities in the room were great! A safe, refrigerator (kitchen), iron, ironing board, and a coffee maker. Have to have our coffee in the A.M.! The room had a separate sleeping area and a living room. It was so roomy; you didn't feel like you were stuck in a box. We liked coming back to the room each afternoon to freshen up, rest our sore feet, and have some cocktails. The room also had a table with four comfortable chairs to sit and relax with your drink. The restaurant/bar upstairs was also great! Great view of the strip. The staff at the Carriage House were top notch. Very pleasant and always asking if there was anything they could help you with. In just a few minutes walking time you can be inside the Aladdan Dessert Passage or inside the back of the MGM, which was convenient for getting to the restaurants. We love Las Vegas, but love being away from all the craziness when it's time to retire for the evening. Going back to Las Vegas in February 2004 and will only stay at the Carriage House! P.S. Price for the room was great! I keep using the word great - and that is exactly with the Carriage House is.

    Good price and location

We stayed here to see the Rolling Stones at MGM Grand in February 2003 so hotels rates were high but got a good deal at Carriage House. The room was nice, they used the word "luxurious" to describe it which not very accurate or at least our's wasn't. Unfortunately we got one on the lower level without a view, well if you like starring at the closed monorail tracks... Staff and service was pleasant, good location, could walk to the MGM and Aladdin. Overall I would stay here again but would not be on the top of my list.

    Great Place To Stay

Enjoyed our stay over spring break. We are planning on returning in summer too! My husband, I and our daughter stayed at the Carriage house this first stay. We were VERY IMPRESSED with the hotel AND the service we received. We had a great room with lots of space and a kitchen too. It was close to everything since it is located 1 half block off the strip. It is also in the middle of the strip so easy access to all of the strip. The hotel also has a FREE shuttle service to and from the airport AND daily at different times to the strip. Can't say enough about this GREAT hotel. It was like staying at home but having VEGAS at our door step.

    Great Place (Quiet, Clean) Excellant

My sister-in-law and I stayed at the Carriage House last week and it was EXCELLANT. You can see the strip from the side street HARMON and it is a simple block up to the Harley-Davidson Cafe with the Alladin Casino/hotel just across the street. You can catch a FREE shuttle just at the corner at the Harley Cafe to the Hard Rock Casino and back. It is quiet being off the strip. The MGM monorail isn't operational as Las Vegas is building a large monorail system that is to be in place by 2008. It should surround the whole strip! which will make it easier on your feet and fast to get to each casino. I would stay here again.. newely decorated rooms with kitchenettes! HIGHLY recommend this place!

    Loved the Carriage House

My husband and I recently stayed at the Carriage house, and were very impressed. Front desk check-in was quick-no long line-ups, as well as courteous and friendly personnal. Rooms were bright, well appointed and clean. It is only a short walk to the Strip, and it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle after walking the Strip. We also enjoyed the food and service at Raffles located in Mandolay Bay. A great experience again in Vegas.

Great rates a short walk from the strip!

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend. All the other hotels were charging $200 or more but The Carriage house had great rates for $99.

The staff was VERY FRIENDLY and the rooms were VERY CLEAN. Large rooms with a little kitchen and the hotel just a short walk to the the center of all the action.

I will stay at the Carriage House again.

Best Kept Secret in Las Vegas

You can have it all in Las Vegas at the Carriage House. It offers a home away from home with luxoriously large suites, including complete kitchens with all the cooking supplies and amenities, dining areas, TVs in both bedroom and livingroom. In less than 5 min. you can be in the shops at the Aladdin and within a leisurely 10 minute walk you can be standing in the Bellagio or Paris lobby. The convenience of parking steps from the lobby door of the Carriage house is a real treat in Las Vegas.

Rooms are impeccably clean, staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, and the accomodations are very quiet. Many offer wonderful strip views and provide a respite from the excitement of Vegas.

We've stayed at many Casino hotels, including the Luxor, Circus Circus, Main Street Station, and Carriage House offers many times more in accomodation and value for your money. This hotel is 1st on our list for a return visit.

... me. After the wedding, we hopped back inside the limos and went to the Palms. At the top of this casino is a rooftop bar called Ghostbar and it had the most incredible views of Las Vegas. Seeing the strip from this perspective at night was breathtaking. Inside the bar, the music was great and everyone was dancing together. We requested our dancing songs, wobble and Cupid shuffle, and when they played we had the entire bar joining in with us. This has been the best night of the tour by ...

I wondered if the bus had being invaded by some strange woodland creature but as I turned round I realised it was just a really annoying child who was trying to get his mothers attention. The child screamed, kicked and punched but his mother (who was on the phone) refused to acknowledge him. The chatter soon died away as people began to watch the child and laugh ...
