We said previously that we would be driving through the rest of Kentucky, but I think this state had a different idea. After being wrongly informed by enterprise rent a car that we could travel into Virginia with the rental, Merrill was forced to return the truck to Pikeville, or face a $1 per mile penalty. We left Lexington this morning is rain. It is our first morning of rain on this trip and maybe only our second day of rain before lunch. We are heading to the town of Hiltons Kentucky where the Carter Family Fold is located.
