Nachdem der "Umzug" um einen Tag verschoben wurde, uns kam ein Kinobesuch ( James Bond - Skyfall ) in den Weg, haben wir gestern unsere 7 oder auch 8 Sachen gepackt, dass letzte Mal mit Jarvis unser Stammrestaurant "Lentils - pay as you feel" besucht, einen Zwischenstop bei ALDI SÜD gemacht und dann gings ab nach Springvale ( wir waren sogar fast pünktlich !)

Started off about the same. Woke up, the one thing about this hostel is the beds are comfy. Other than that it kind of sucks. There are hardly and bathrooms. The facilities suck. Also it's too big so no one really talks to anyone outside of their group. I got up and headed downstairs for breakfast which was surprisingly free. But it was just cereal toast and peanut butter. Plus some tea and instant coffee. Not very nice but it was free food. Martin ...

... the Penguin parade. Unfortunately no photos (even flash free) were allowed so you’ll just have to use your imagination. After dusk thousands of miniature penguins (nicknamed fairy penguins) all follow the same path back to their burrows. It was amazing to see - there were so many! There was a little hole near us and it was amusing to see them waddle along and fall in - especially after we saw one use it as a toilet! They were very cute!

Wow, Melbourne, what a fantastic city, its a foodie mecca! Lots of little lanes housing gorgeous cafes serving the most delicious coffee and breakfasts. I can only apologise to my waistline! ... a bit of a challenge in the dark, pouring rain and me with my serious lack of direction that I am experiencing at the minute . Once we had though we decided we wanted somewhere warm , dry with music and a bar, back to fans we went! And had a really good evening with wine, great music and lots of dancing!
