We wandered around the town and then went for a hot drink at a cafe offering free wifi, Les downloaded the mapping for Switzerland on to the laptop whilst I researched camping sites in the mountains, and we looked at the forecast for tomorrow when we cross the mountains - a high of -4 with snow, wow that sounds exciting. The lake is 46km from one end to the other, so I guess we travel 20 ...

... it and his collections of books, artefacts, historical maps and antique furniture, just as they were when he died. A great English speaking guide to tell us the stories. Magnificent outlook, gardens, artworks and artefacts. And we came away with an appreciation of his gift to the Italian people. Had lunch on the waterfront and soaked up the atmosphere. Back to our place, up a several hundred steps, but we are managing it a lot easier that a six weeks ...
