... viewed a film called "The Malta Experience." It was well-done and traced the history of this Island. So many battles have been fought on this soil and it has changed hands many times. Finally, in 1964 Malta gained its independence and became a republic in 1974.

This is such an interesting city (Brian, you were so right!) and we highly recommend that you put it on your list of places to visit.
