... The rain has closed in, the cloud dropped in over the higher mountains that encircle the bay. We skipped out to the boat last night, to rescue the tender which had floated across the bay and kindly been tied to a palm tree on the beach. We had considered walking as they were charging €25 for a return for two which we thought expensive for a 10 minute bus ride. However it is a captured market and it was a good walk. Maybe a taxi would be no more expensive. Maybe we will try that next time! The shuttle dropped us near the centre of Mallorca and ...

... boys, and we are looking forward to meeting with them in Rioja for some fall leaves and good wines in October.

It’s important to have good food at home and on weekend jaunts, as the boys entertain us with stories of how the school food is horrible, something apparently universal in Spain. It’s really too bad, as the social life around lunch is great, except for what really seems like strange
      cafeteria food. ...
