    ... can do to read a book on a lounger the rest of the time!

    We were very aware that this magical beachy existence would soon come to an end – only two weeks until the real world!! So we could really appreciate it and soak it up whilst we were there. There were times I barely recognised myself – a Mancunian so at home in the sea, a pasty Brit now super tanned and never getting sunburnt, loving every moment of it. We'll

    ... walking! I was right! and this time we almost had the river to ourselves and were able to drift at our leisure without fins and hands flying in your face!

    Then it was showtime! We were treated to an amazing display of all things Mexican, we started with Mayan culture and warlords facing off then into a replication of the old Mayan 'game' with huge rubber balls that players could only use their hips to maneuver into stone circles which looked really difficult ...

    ... Though I have a restaurant right out my door and I opened it to guests lined up for dinner. I checked out the lobby, walked by the pool and onto the beach, I could see the lights and stuff from the club district, but checking that out is too much effort tonight. I had 4 free beers at the bar, and have now headed to my room. The noise from the restaurant just outside my door could get annoying. I was also watching Spanish the Simpson. Hehe, I could learn Spanish fast. :) Sleep time, ...

    ... catch the bus at the station right away I assume that the minivans go regularly to our beach. Still I am asking the driver and he tells me 4.30 pm is the last bus but they run hourly. Turns out he means at 4.30 pm is the only bus going back. We enjoy a beach with maybe five other people, with a lagoon right behind some small trees in our back. The ocean is powerful and a good breeze makes it not too hot in the sun. In the lagoon people are kite surfing. After 2 hours we walk ...
