Up early and catch the bus into the city, then trek up to Edinburgh castle, Very impressive which is just as well as it was a bloody hard slog up the hill to get there!! We do a half hour tour with a castle guide which give you the history overview and showed you where things were, We then spent a couple of hours wandering and exploring the castle, visiting the crown jewels and different parts of the castle, We make our way back ...

We spent the evening catching up with friends Wendy and Stevie (three years' worth), chatting late into the night until our eyes couldn’t stay open any longer. We have yet to get into our routine…. Including blog writing!

I have learnt a lot over the past 9 months about not expecting anything from anyone. Anything that needs to be done needs to be earned or done by myself and only by me.

    Or it won't get done.

... about leaving her, I will cry. Anyway, I have about 13 hours before I have to head to the airport at an ungodly hour of the morning. I haven't packed yet so I guess I'd better get that done and then try to have a nap. For those of you at home...I am looking forward to seeing you...for those here, I hate leaving you!

I will leave you with some parting shots of beautiful Aberdeen. Enjoy!

    Love to you all,
Thanks for taking this trip with me.
