          Today we went to the Metrocentre which is the biggest shopping centre in all of Europe. After that we went to the Scotland vs Samoa game with my Scottish cousin Nick, and Leaine and Frank came too and I was supporting Scotland and they won 36 to 33.

          ... we drove to our hotel where we were staying near the Tyne River. And then we walked over the Millennium bridge that goes over the Tyne. We had a walk around town where there were lots of All Black supporters.

          ... view. It was a pretty good game to watch. The All Blacks won 47-9 but Tonga put up a good fight for a while. After the game we went to a bar for a couple of drinks then on our way to another one we bumped into Sean Cooney with his brother and Dad. We had no idea he was travelling so it was a very random surprise. We were going to a place called Tiger Tiger which the girls had gone to so they came with us. Turns out Tiger Tiger is a Geordie Shore bar ...

          ... in plenty of time, whereupon we joined 50000 springbok fans and the 5000 scots who weren't too cheap to shell out the big coin, in watching a great battle and an amazing Scottish try. A few beers later (but no Newcastle brown ale to be found!), I was back on the standing room only first class train back to London, arriving around midnight. Managed to watch.           Drove about 40 miles (70k) to this castle. It was commenced in the 1300's and moved into by a family in early 1400's. It had an extension / remodel about 400 yeas ago. The original owners were caught out ripping off the government so a few of them had their heads removed. A while later another family purchased it and still have it. Wasn't allowed to take pics inside because they still live in it. By the time we got back it was too late for anything ...
