    Easter week-end Friday weather wet the site is a little clarty but due to dry up on Saterday Saturday very damp and misty until midday then dull Sunday damp again until midday then brightened up then lovely sunset.     Angle of the North - beautiful but looked small and sad at the side of the road. I was expecting everything to be dwarfed by the mighty statue. Move it to a better location! South Shields - so far lovely. A cold wind from the sea seems fairly persistent and I can't imagine I will ever swim in the sea. Nice row of restaurants and b&bs running up to the sea, Ocean Road.     ... that all our flights were on time, went smoothly and we arrived safely home. We have had an amazing holiday in NZ and feel very privileged to be able to have such an experience.
