... of the headland is our B&B on the top floor with our bedroom looking out to sea. We could have jumped out the window into the sea if it was not for the rocks below. On the mainland side of the headland is La Rocca a large jagged granite rock formation towering over the township. It has the remnants of a medieval castle and walls that can be seen from down below.

This is our last entry and our last day in Cefalu.
Yesterday, the boys and I explored Cefalu after a day at the pool.

Set along the Tyrrhenian coast, Cefalu is a former fishing village and is now a beach town.

Duomo-this Norman Cathedral opens up to the center of town. Inside the cathedral you find stunning Mosaics completed in 1148.

La Rocca- in Cefalu's heyday, this was the site of the acropolis of Cephaloedium, with a temple dedicated to Hercules on top.
