... Domus Lilio, our stop for the night, again with a balcony and mountain view. We had another delicious meal, this time at Petrae Lejum,with grilled vegetables followed by gnocchi and mushrooms and pasta with lamb ragu. Before leaving town, we stopped off to get our picnic made up by Giorggio himself in the local grocers shop.

Buon giorno! Good morning! Yesterday our plans to visit the aeolian islands didn't work out so we visited the coastal town of Cefalú instead and hoping to see the islands tomorrow. Cefalú is about an hour drive from where we are at in Furnari. We take the autostrada, the super fast highway, with beautiful views of the mountain on one side and the sea view on the other. ... we arrived in Milazzo in 2 hours. We needed to get to the Milazzo train station and we were able to catch a local city bus that departed the ferry terminal about 20 minutes after we arrived, perfect timing.
