Camping up the California coast began in Refugio State Park. It was definitely a little different then we had drawn up in are heads, but in the end we chalked it up for 4 days of urban camping right outside of Santa Barbra. ... features of the room but the summary is that Mr Hearst and his architect Julia Morgan put a lot of thought in to every detail in the room. The next room was the dinning room. It made me think if Harry Potter. :) Hearst made everyone eat dinner in the grand room so they could socialize. One of the funny things was in this huge fancy room they had ketchup and mustard on the tables. They said it was because before they built the house they used to camp ...

The girls visited Tablas Creek Vineyard where they were given the VIP tour and learned a little about winemaking and biodynamic farming. After returning to the house they were put to work bottling 25 cases of Jim's 2011 Zinfandel. The girls were then able to sample several of Jim's wine, one even straight from the tank! After a hard day's work everyone had smoked ribs and veggies out of the ...
