        I worked from home all day while the kids played. I tried to stream the company over the home network, but it started late and was delayed part way through. It was supposed to start at 1pm, but ended up starting around 1:30p, and then there was a delay part way through. I was supposed to get the rental car at 2pm, so dad ended up picking me up and I streamed the meeting on my phone. My mom and Maxine watched the boys while we went to get the rental car from the airport.

        ... the before leaving stresses and really start to experience serving on a mission trip. I am so very excited to be going. i dont think i could honestly explain all of the feelings and emotions i have about this trip. All I know is that i am excited, nervous, and doing something that i am feeling called to do. I really am trying to keep my mind super open and not to expect anything to happen. I am more looking forward to getting up each day serving the lord ...

        Well its getting down to the wire! Around this time tomorrow I will be packing up my bags and heading to the airport to begin my adventure. It doesn't really feel like I am going to another country tomorrow...I feel like I am going to be hopping on a plane to Atlanta or DC. These have become my routine flights over the past year and part of me expects to wake up there Sunday morning. This time the situation shall be quite different and unfamiliar though...I will be ...

        ... had a lot of spices and flavor, but it seemed to be a lot of the same dishes- spiced meat and vegetable stew. The food in England was very hearty, which was a welcome change at the time, but it can be a bit simplistic. The biggest contender would therefore be Italian food.
