We are cooks, cleaners, fixers, helpers, arrangers, shoulders, information service and general dogs bodies. Its not glamorous, or well paid. Firstly a story I forgot to mention yesterday, I recounted it to Matt his morning, when we walking off down to watch Marni at ski school. It's only 12km and you can only go 70 km/h, you have to be 150m from each car, it was single lane and for this it cost us $80. We got to Chemonix and it was so scenic. There was a glacier hanging down the mountain and it looked awesome. We pulled up at a campsite and had to wait until 3pm until it opened. The camp was between a glacier and a mountain. At ...

Oops, no notes again! Refuge Elena quite new and modern. Large dorms but partitioned into bunks of 4. Located on a high ridge overlooking the valley, where we had a long break and arvo tea. Met some interesting groups of Italians, see the funny hats. It seems that all of Italy has these 2 weeks off, so the trails and refuges are full. Dinner in a lovely dining room, food pasta as usual. ...
