... The Hilton Danube ( a 1000 times better than our 'Soviet' Hotel in Prague). The whole tour group went to dinner at the most eclectic restaurant I have ever been to - Heath you would love it but there again there was so much stuff you would have an issue with the clutter. Vienna is one of those grand European cities that makes you feel very small. At nearly every corner there is a monument of some kind. Heading to the Tourist information Centre, we took a diversion to locate a WC, eventually finding the Opera Toilet Vienna with music, on a lower, underground level, near the entrance to the Subway station. It was more expensive, than other amenities but the look on Mick's face at the ...

... commands respect in the city centre. Once the heart of the royalty of Vienna we enjoyed the imperial surroundings that were surrounded by men dressed in knickerbockers, velvet coats and white wigs selling their wares. Vienna is famous for its coffee. We sampled a drop with a piece of apple strudel while stealing the shop keepers power from a nearby powerpoint. Our camera, iPad & kindle run flat pretty quickly and with no means of charging it we are relying on ...
