Heute Morgen sind wir wieder zu den Hopewell Rocks gefahren, um die Gesteinsformationen bei Flut anzuschauen. Das war wirklich recht eindrücklich!<br><br>Bei den Felsen haben wir einem Amerikanischen Ehepaar aus Kalifornien unsere Gezeitentabelle überlassen und sonst noch ein paar Tipps gegeben. Die haben sich so darüber gefreut, und machten gleich ein Foto von uns beiden ...

We stopped at the local Harley Davidson dealer and bought our Four Corners T-shirts. They even gave us a certificate for completing that corner at the dealer. After all this, we were on way again headed south for a change. Boy, that nice wind at our backs was now coming to haunt us. More on that later.

... in Montreal so he can relax and take it easy, but he was not happy with our motel and at 11am said "lets go". The ride eastward on highway 20 was fantastic. ... It was a great French lesson, reading and interpreting the signs. The kids have shown a renewed interest in the language, since they have discovered real people here in their own country who primarily communicate in French. Simone especially asks, "how do you say .... in French?" She practiced saying, "Comment tu t'appelle?" and "Quel age est tu?" until she was confident enough to approach the little girl who was visiting her ...

... when in Atlantic Canada one must stop at every Tim Hortins you can. Its a rule (evidently). Our second stop was another of Rays brother, who I cant remember the name of at the moment :) they live out in the middle of nowhere which was fantastic, seriously. We then continued on to Grand Falls and ate a resturant called the Hilltop, looking out onto the grand falls. It ...

... but looked really nice...the guy didn't speak a word of english...but a kind person staying there helped out! The site was amazing....right on the river and a nature reserve thing...birds and reeds and an amazing sunset! Had a campfire and cooked good food...oh yeah and cracked open the beer....just like a real camping experience should be!! Made me happy anyway! (and made the pointless but fun day worthwhile!)
