... clear of all vegetation and there are few exits or entrances, making driving easy but boring. There was not much to see. Sheree knitted and Ted listened to sports while we drove to the airport. We did pass two areas that were just putrid smelling. We discovered that they were ginormous land fills. Yucky!

We arrive at 6:25pm at terminal 4, twenty minutes after their schedule flight arrival time. Sheree hurried in as Ted waited at the curb. She found that they ...

... from Hard Rock cafe store, went and saw Shrek in 4d (we have seen this before in Movie World on the Gold Coast years ago, but the park at this time was still absolutely packed and some rides had huge wait times showing, despite the park closing in 30 mins). After this we decided on Mojitos in a lakeside bar and waited for the crowds to subside. There was an absolute sea of people moving out of the parks. Today was our shopping and relaxing day in between going to the parks each day. We got ready and went down to the lobby to get a taxi. The taxi was going to cost $45 to go to the shops. It was crazy! We ended up reluctantly hiring a car for 3 days. It was just over $200 so we were really happy with that! Danny was petrified. I was nervous too but I wasn't able to drive because I ...

Today is a day we split up

A travel blog entry by karengilmore on Oct 10, 2013

We decide to go separate ways this day as Stacey and Geoff have things they want to see and Karen and I need a restful day!
In the morning Karen and I head to Magic Kingdom to just cruise till noon.. turns out it is not crowded bu they have a major computer glitch and MOST of the major rides are down till 10:30 or later! We get a few rides then head back to the campsite!
Spend the afternoon at the pool reading and relaxing.. just what we needed!
