... on display at the start as well. Then the main event and it was time for the croc's and doing the demo was the whole Irwin family and Wes, Steve's best mate. It was a great display and I think we were really lucky to have them all there as the kids are normally in school or filming their own TV series. From the crocoseum we first got some more water and dried off as the sun was baking hot today and then went exploring the rest of the park. We had fun looking round and headed ...
Noosa, Queensland, Australia gaz-lj... shopping and lost track of time! (And, speaking of you Amy, I miss you already!). Went to the beach in Mooloolaba and enjoyed my first bit of rotting on Australian beaches. The waves were spectacular once again. Amy taught me how to boogie-board, which is so much fun! I felt like I was flying on the water.
Noosa is a beautiful town. When I first got here, I decided to jog along the beach and watch the sunset, something I've been ...
Noosa, Queensland, Australia edtaepn... games on the beach. We had to wake up 6.30 and canoe all the way back to Gagaju. Having no breakfast, going against the win and current, being a bit hungover and being to early in the morning it was very hard work. We where then taken back to Noosa where I went back to my hostel and crashed out for a few hours. I had a great time, but very hard work and had a great group of people. In the evening I had a few drinks in the hostel pub.
Noosa, Queensland, Australia andy10265... is mostly forest with just Lee's amazingly huge shed (boys, be jealous) and a couple of small cabins they've erected so that they don't have to live in the shed. This meant that space would be tight for Bunny and I. As luck and good fortune would have it Heather and Lee were asked to house sit (and dog sit Sandy) for the duration of our stay so we had the run of a fabulous 4 bed room property with swimming pool. The swimming pool itself was ...
Noosa, Queensland, Australia bernadine... of Eastern Grey Kangaroos are known to live in hopes she could show me some. after driving around for a few minutes, sure enough we found two different groups grazing on some of the univeristy lawns. i didn't dare get too close-- though Lana was teasing me that i could have gotten closer-- and because it was dark you can just barely make out their silouettes among glowing eyes. still, it was very cool.
Noosa, Australia joergen... 2008 - 09:09 Location: The Sebel, Noosa Heads Monday 3 March - spent most of the day travelling - but all the arrangements went very smoothly - Noosa Heads just happens to be a 2 hour drive from Brisbane Airport. Waiting for the flight was interesting as the Indian Cricket team were travelling on the same flight (they were happy as they had just won the first of three One Day Cricket Finals against Australia). Spoke to the guy who was organising their flight arrangements ...
Noosa, Australia lionelandsue... back onto the island and out to sea. This part of the island has the contrast again that never fails to amaze me - forest and snad dunes right next to each other. After trekking back to the car we decided to eat our sandwiches (already made at the campsite this time) and watch how everyone else drove through the deep soft sand at the entrance to the next beach that we had got stuck in when we arrived - yes we had to push lol! The key thing, it seemed, was to ...
Gympie, Australia smiffy... our car into secure parking and basically making us feel very welcome. We settled into our room first of all, and then decided to head out and explore the area. Beautiful shops and cafes, with a couple of pubs and literally dozens of appartment blocks all doing a strady trade and although it wasn't exactly the warmest, a fair few folk out on the beach as well. Noosa Heads beach is pretty damn stunning and ...
