    ... stretch if beach. We first had sodas on the pier bar watching schools of fish have a feeding frenzy. There were 3 foot long tarpons which were amazing to see so close to shore.     ... little. The 1st day was cloudy and rainy but on Friday the clouds cleared and we went to the beach.

    There is one famous beach called 7 Mile Beach and we went to a specific spot for snorkelling called Cemetery Beach. Beautiful water and good snorkelling right from the shore.

    ... lol. The gift shop was great. The store employees welcomed you by saying "How the hell are you?" And yes, I mailed postcards from hell back home to family and friends. On to the Tortuga rum cake factory for free samples of different types of rum and cakes. Oh they were all so good but cinnamon rum raisin was my favorite and I purchased one to take home with me.

    ... very nice houses along the coast. This area was not so developed as where we are staying and there are no big hotels or condos. We also passed a few more cemeteries along the oceanside.

    Back to Georgetown (the big city here), we got in a little shopping. Then, our first swim in the ocean! just what we needed before dinner at Coconut Joe's, and back to the room to upload pictures...and now we're up to date. -kjk (additions in italics by mom)
