Sad to leave beautiful Kas with it's lovely warm weather and the lovely staff at the hotel and the rooftop terrace overlooking the water. Most hotels in Turkey give you a wonderful buffet breakfast with cereals, cold meats, cheeses and salads and hot eggs and other foods too.
At this hotel we had a dinner of a vegetarian buffet with bbq chicken, fish or meat, and a soup and dessert for a really reasonable price of A$12.
Another two hour bus trip along the ...
... and tasty – facing the water. At the end of the first week we are really getting to know our fellow tour groupers and they are very nice people.

Unfortunately this morning I woke up feeling a bit in need to being near a toilet. Fortunately, it didn't continue thank goodness and I went on the 12 Island cruise trip with everyone else. What a lovely day full of magnificent views on a great motor yacht ...
... flirting with a Korean girl. Another conductor beckoned me from my seat to meet 2 Asian girls (think they were korean) who were trying to ask him for help. It took a while before I realized the conductor wanted me to be his translator. This was a woefully misguided effort. Though the 2 Asian girls were surprised I spoke English (really? Dude wearing a UVA t-shirt speaks Engrish?), I do not speak Turkish. So I helped perpetuate the Turkish belief ...
... We each met our pilots who would be with us and kissed each other goodbye. Next the parachute was unfolded. Take off happened before I really realized what we were doing. My thought was that we were repositioning before taking off...but then poof...flight. Simple, relaxing, serene flight. The parts of Oludeniz (a big beach) were pointed out as well as surrounding villages. It all looked so small.

... came over to us holding a small bucket and inside were three little tortoises! Us girls ooohhh'd and aaaahhhh'd over them, picking them up and taking photos. Their little feet were weird and the nails creeped me out when they pushed against the palm of my hand.
The afternoon was spent napping and relaxing at the hostel and then at 6pm I went with Joel to meet his airport transfer. Everyone said their goodbyes. Pete, Scott and Joel had a little moment and after ...
