... dishes you want. The problem is, most places near the harbor don't have menus! That's a sure sign that you're being overcharged. But that's the deal. They'll tell you the price when you ask. At one place, we could tell the guy was making up prices and he said one dish was 20 Lira. We walked out since we knew by then it should be 10. ($5 instead of $10)

We had a great meal at one Lokana run by a nice couple and then we had ...

The bus ride was painful, but at least the company was good. On the bus, I spoke to an American couple from Massachusetts who are farmers and are spending 3 weeks in turkey working on farms for room and board. Also got to enjoy the antics of the Turkish conductors, one of ...

17 years old and travelling 2000 miles away from home to a country I didn't know with 3 of my best friends (at the time) for the duration of just under a month. This was just the start of my journey.

By 17 years old, I had already moved to London from my home town in Scotland by myself. I had visited London a lot and loved the ...

... lovers lane...Take the plunge...Walk on sunshine...wait, we are already married. This would be easy! We were picked up for an afternoon flight and started our assent. Every now and then we could see how high the car was climbing and it was a little intimidating. Once we got to the jumping point we were able to see others take off. It looked okay. No one was breaking their legs or falling on their face. Not one person was screaming bloody ...
