We went with a company called V-Go Yachting and it was alright except our guide was totally awol for a good chunk of the trip, leaving us with the rest of the crew that hardly spoke any english. also, they managed to run out of beer on two separate days. we tried to bargain with the crew to buy out the entire ...
Olympos, Antalya, Turkey christina_lam... is filled with several delightful surprises. You will follow your guide into caves, traverse in between rocks and jump into the clearest blue waters for a swim.
If you have a mask and snorkel don’t forget to take these with you. You can enjoy snorkelling the crystal clear waters during our breaks from paddling. He wants us to say what we would pay and Len says no, you tell us what you want and we will go from there. It is slightly more for the 2 of us, than what the woman was asking for one of us and it includes breakfast and dinner. I say o.k. right away and Len, bless his heart, did try to negotiate a ...
Olympos, Turkey dancejill... hike up the mountain. And WOW, what a place!!! The walk itself was dramatic. Fairly steep, and rocky in places, but through a beautiful forested area. The Chimaera became visible only at the last 20 - 30 m or so, but there was no doubt about them. The whole area is rocky, and spaced at variable intervals and spaces are these flames emanating from cracks in the rocks. Their exact nature is yet to be defined, but the best theory is that they are natural methane outlets that for ...

Because it's best viewed at night and is about 5km away from Olympos, north of Cirali, you really have to take a tour to get there and back. The half hour walk up an 'easy' path is certainly an adventure (make sure you bring a flash-light!) but wiitnessing the fiery hillside at the end of it ...
