    ... Carlsbad we drive to Dallas. Best known for the murder of John F Kennedy in 1963. We visit the place where it happened and meet a guy who was there in 1963. He was 13 years old at the time and is convinced there was more than one shooter. Every day you can find him on the grassy knoll , telling his story and selling magazines that support his view.     ... is more of a first birthday tradition to have a smash cake but we thought it would be fun - and it was!!

    ... fish restaurant on the way to Liz's farm at Forestburg, an hour or so from Dallas. We rode in Jimmy's Tundra pickup truck. It is quite a truck! If only airplanes had such leg room as I had in the back!
    This is beautiful country- green and treed. Liz's farm is set on a rise looking over trees and pasture. It is gorgeous.The cows have beautiful pastures, with pecan and oak trees for shade.
