    ... We did have to go through passport control, customs and baggage claim before checking back in with Westjet and going back through security. Flight to Ottawa was quick and easy, and Lauren and Mike were there to meet us! Nice to see a familiar face at 12:30 in the morning. We both totally crashed out when our heads hit the pillow... (By the time we got to bed, it was actually 6am UK time!). Good to be in our own bed ...

    Before we travel to Europe, we got to spend Canada Day in Ottawa! Day was very rainy so we stayed home until it cleared. Then headed downtown, saw buskers (one dismounted off a really high unicycle onto a really bouncy pogo stick and then did flips!), ate Beavertails, and spiral potato chips on a stick, walked a lot, saw part of the show on Parliament Hill ...
