... cemetery. The house has walls about three feet thick, and has been renovated inside with wooden floors and big wooden beams. All of the work has been down by Michel. We were lucky that the upstairs is practically finished, so we could stay there. Felt bad though, because he gave us his bedroom. He says he is well enough at the moment. He takes medication for 21 days of the month and then has blood tests at the end. So he is in remission. Think ...

... stirred around me; I felt like I had the whole place to my self. Wrapped in my entire luggage, the cold and wet that was keeping the rest of Bruges locked away went entirely unnoticed.

The dark streets were broken by the warm glow of the latest resting hole, as relaxed revellers and late night diners fogged the windows inside. I continued along Braambergstraat and Dijver, following the motionless canal being dusted by the light mist that filled the ...

The bike shop is about a 15 minute walk from our hotel in the opposite direction from Brugge center. ...

... atmosphere. A few of us traveled back to a small brewery we had passed on the tour and took a look inside. We also stopped in some souvenir stores where we found that all of the workers had some knowledge of English. I found this impressive since that means many of them are trilingual at a very least.

The food we had in Brugge was identical to the meal we had yesterday in Brussels. It become apparent fairly quickly that beer, french fries, ...

... on us because we had pulled over to the side of the road. As soon as he heard our English, he asked "are you lost?" We explained our restaurant situation, and he said "follow me, I know a good place". So we did and had a great meal thanks to the local police. We highly recommend the Bistro & Tea Room Dorp 56 in Adegem.

      That's about it for now.
