... hours before the train to Paris we took a stroll around Lille. Avert large town with lots of interesting and very old buildings. Shame we did not have an extra day there.

Another comfortable train ride back to Paris and to our hotel on the North Bank of the Seine we re ready for some serious sight seeing.

The inside consists of medieval buildings and churches, the streets are all cobblestone, and there are several smaller canals that weave through the center.
