... belonged to a very influential person. With the fall of the Roman Empire the owners must have packed their bags and left, and trees, weeds and soil reclaimed the site until the 1800s. Before we got to the Roman villas we came through a beautiful little village called Yanwarth. What a cutie that was - will put up some photos. Wow! Today was the best day so far, purely because of the Cheddar Gorge. It was amazing breathtakingly beautiful to descends between it's cliffs. I'm so glad I went there and would love to revisit. ... We took a picture of ourselves at one of our favorite episode locations, "The Face of Boe they called me." To mix things up a bit we decided to take a water taxi rather than a bus.
