... our route back to a place just before Penzance where we had passed a Chinese restaurant earlier in the day. We went in and could have had a buffet for £11.50 each, or al a carte. We chose al a carte as Edie never gets her money's worth at buffets, So that was our day. Great weather, relaxing cruising, and a reasonable sweet and sour pork dinner. Tomorrow's our last full day in Cornwall. Can't believe the10 days have gone so quickly. How do we spend ...

She and her sister Jan have booked tours to Cornwall and France n September, with a few other cities thrown in to cover the time between ...

Edie was certain she remembered something from her family tree, so when we got back to the cottage she went searching on google. Seems there is another graveyard in St Day just near Gwennap which may be more forthcoming. That will have to wait for another day. Tomorrow there have been thunderstorms predicted for the whole of Western Cornwall. Don't know what we will do ...

Today was a rest day. We slept in. I arose about 8.00 and did some planning for next week. Washing got done and the dishes got washed. There is a dish washer here but it's easier just to wash the dishes as we use them. Edie showered and washed her hair and announced that she was ready to go. Go where? That was the question. From our previous experience of Sundays there was not a lot to be done. So we decided that Penzance was a large town so there should be something open. We had ...
