As you drive towards the site at Culloden you go past the battle field to park behind it so you can see the blue and red flags depicting the front lines for each army, they are so close and the battle field looks quite eery, it has a feeling about it you could say. We set off into the site and first you go through the displays which tell each sides ...
... then headed back to the hotel. Edinburgh is a very impressive city, well set out and good transportation. Work is well underway setting up a tram system that runs through the city and suburbs and out to the airport, scheduled to be completed in 2014 that will run on electricity, saving the need to bring some cars and buses in to the city. We had a great pub meal at the Albanach Hotel, but neither of us were brave enough to have the Haggis or Black Pudding.....ha ...
