... and now during the week, everyone's back and doing their duties attending classes, and labs, and doing their homework. We took care not to disturb our hosts while they studied their subject matter. There was a lot of tests and exams this week for many students as well as our hosts. Enjoy the pictures of the campus all over RIT, and next time I make an entry, we should be in Virginia Beach by then, and staying for the month there.

We're hoping for a better digital video camera for more shots down the road for sponsorships. Josh truly enjoyed his workout, working on his manual's, and line of tricks.

... ETA. He was about an hour away so to kill time we ate (of course), hung out in the shade, checked out her dorm room and met up with her friend, Tasha.

... and counted down to Kris then finished with the whole top 10 on stage. Highlights were definitely Danny singing 'What Hurts the Most' and the final song ('Don't Stop Believing') although both Adam and Kris were excellent as well.

I didn't actually see much of Rochester – the bus station, the hotel and the arena was pretty much it but it was well worth the visit!!

A great day we started with a tour of the greatest bicycle museum I have ever seen. Carl the owner of the collection gave us a tour and most of the bikes were American made except for some very rare ones that he had imported. During the day we needed to kill some time, so we went browsing at the Harley-Davidson dealership. And we stopped at RIT for Jacqui to see how the campus has changed. Saw some of the new fawns munching on the grass back near our old apartment!

... We made it to Oklahoma, where we did a lot of nothing on the farm of my mother's ex-husband. I think he let me steer his truck while I sat on his lap. A cousin of some degree was swarmed by red ants. At some point we went across the Texas border, probably to shop at an unnecessarily large mall. The drive home was shorter; diversions are less tempting when home lies ahead.

Last day home before leaving tomorrow morning at 7:30am Basically just spending the day packing up everything I'll need for the next month and taking care of important things like banking, insurance, etc... We do have a rum soaked Cayman Island Cake left over from our honeymoon/sales awards trip--think it will still be good after a whole year? I think if you bathe anything in Rum it will be good! Oh---and our dinner is leftover his and her pizza (anchovies and mushroom on my side and peperoni on his) from last night---what a romantic dinner!

I am going to Europe for my birthday and I am making plans...I'm not sure where I should spend my birthday. Maybe in Paris or London or Berlin or Zurich at the top of the Alps. Hmmm.....can't make up my mind...
