Most of Verbier has a weird habit of turning off washing machines between 11.10 and 12.30 and 13.00 and 20.00. No other applicance, or sauna or ski lift, just the washing machines! Grrr. ... fig chutney and toasts and then-yes more!-honeycomb and apple parfait with apple sorbet. My goodness! The most incredible meal I've ever had. The chefs are outstanding. The service was smooth and charming, so impressed with the hosts.
After finishing our drinks in the lounge the team head out for a few drinks on the town. I'm entirely sure that Verbier nightlife is quite me. Very different to La Ros vibe of fun and friendly. I need to do a bit more expolring to find my fit I think.

Every now and then there is a water fountain along the road. These are the best water fountains in the world. Extremely basic, a pipe pops up out of the ground with a faucet on top. Out of the faucet blasts water from the melting snow from above .The cold water blasts constantly into a tub made out of a hollowed out log, with the overflow trickling down the drain and further down the mountain.
