      Finally the day had arrived, one of my bucket list choices is her. airboat on the Everglades with river grass tours. Walked, bussed to the hire car place to collect our compact car, instead we were given a massive truck, biggest ute I have seen! After a a bit of a heated discussion we managed to find our way out of the city and onto the state roads. Took us about 1 to get to the meeting point. Victoria met us and took us the 5 minutes to the ramp where Ray our driver was waiting ...

      ... september as this is the month the ships go back to dock for maintenence. There was a trip to Key West which would give us 6 hours of free time and was only $45 so went for that, also meant Kaleb could come aswell. We had dinner at a place called Rice and Kabob, now i love middle eastern food so i was in my element being able to order falafel, hummus with flat bread and shish tawook. Probs the best meal i have had in the past week ...

      What a lovely old city filled with lots of history from the old fort to the blue cobble stone streets made from old ships ballast. We decided to go on the "long" hike in the rain forest. The area, maintained by the US Park Service is lush, green, filled with lots of bamboo trees and different plants. Guess what... It rained - I guess that's what you should expect in a rain forest. The trails were well maintained and most in our group ...
