... less wind, good music and the soccer game was on the big screen. We had lunch at o'sheenans. We enjoyed a Newcastle on tap and a lovely conversation with an 80 year old couple. Then headed back to the H20. When we finally had enough sun we headed for a mini putt match and I won with a last minute hole in one that put me ahead by 1. Andrew is protesting! We hadn't eaten much so headed to the sushi bar where we had a fantastic snack ...

We arrived back in Port about 7:30 am and disembarked and headed back to South Carolina. It was a great trip and we have some great memories to keep.

On the last night of the cruise, our waiter Manuel and our waitress Magaly served us baked Alaska.

Pat Zraidi, take note of the lounge wear Sally and I wore every morning. We can't live without our Moroccan dresses.

Finally the day had arrived, one of my bucket list choices is her. airboat on the Everglades with river grass tours. Walked, bussed to the hire car place to collect our compact car, instead we were given a massive truck, biggest ute I have seen! After a a bit of a heated discussion we managed to find our way out of the city and onto the state roads. Took us about 1 to get to the meeting point. Victoria met us and took us the 5 minutes to the ramp where Ray our driver was waiting ...

... to walk back along the ocean boulevard instead, hoping to find somewhere there to get a drink & get some change to jump back on the bus again. We couldn't have been more wrong, this whole stretch was residential, no shops and no buses passed us. A pleasant but long walk back took us a good sweaty hour. At least it wasn't raining and some of the houses were amazing to look at.

Once back at the hotel, we headed straight to the poolside bar to quench our thirst. ...

Goodbye America .... Hello again blog

... Before we got here we’d never tried AirBnb ( amazing) or Relay rides ( definitely get involved). We only managed to try Workaway in our last three weeks and wish we’d done it from the start ( free accommodation in exchange for some work). What we’ve loved about these things is that they put you in touch with real people who know the local area and can help you without selling to you. With these peer to peer sites too it’s ...
