John, Tieneke, Gary and I took the Metro to The Haig. We had a great day wandering through the city streets. Went to the Dutch Parliament House, the Royal Palace and the Peace Palace where there was a peace rally as it is the 9/11 anniversary today. It is a beautiful city with a mix of ultra modern and very old buildings. The IPad was accidentally on video when we meant to be taking photos - obviously not very tech savvy ...

... doing bad things... In our case, a lady stripping so pretty g rated for Amsterdam! But then, we saw a couple quit obviously have sex in a booth!! The stripper yelled at them then they stopped being quite so obvious but we reckon they were still doing it! Sooooo gross! Then I walked back about midnight. Overall a really fun day. Tomorrow I'm going to the zoo, the Van Gogh museum and then ...

... to the canal. We made it back to the hotel without getting lost and had a fight with the front door to get in. The owner was probably home, here were lights on the top floor but Mummy eventually managed to open it by wiggling the handle so we didn't have to resort to the intercom.

Den Haag & Delft - Day Eight

... in the lounge at Banks and chose a restaurant from there. We were in the mood for fish, so decided to eat at Lucius. The hotel made a reservation and we walked there and had a sensations meal – I had halibut with veal sauce, which sounds weird but was amazing, and Gary had the seafood platter which was massive. Our meal at Lucius, with wine, was €110.
