This morning we got up bright and early, and saw that it was a beautiful day. We were, I would say, pretty efficient about cleaning ourselves up and eating breakfast. We had a plan, you see, to visit two cities (admittedly right next to each other), The Hague and Delft, so we were trying to get going early and not waste time. But Elle was only here for a few days so we searched the net for things to do in Amsterdam on a Sunday in the pouring ...

... walked home and had salmon in red curry sauce on a bed of rice and drink a bottle of Prosecco enjoying our last night in our lovely apartment. We know for certain that we will be returning to Amsterdam someday. We love everything about the vibe, the food and the freedoms that are an integral part of the culture here. We are all packed and ready for a short trip to Bruges tomorrow. We can't believe we are on the last few days of our trip! Hugs to ...

... the air and clung onto us. We stopped and I got a nice raincoat (thanks, Mom!) and what a difference it made. Note to self: Layer and always be ready for rain - and lots of it. Walking, we saw some pretty incredible and interesting thing. First we stopped at the Noordeinde Palace which was a sight. After a few oohs, ahhs, and pictures, we continued down the side streets.

We found this one quarter ...
