... of Turkish Greeks to Greece and vice versa. Many deaths occurred and people lost everything. When the Greeks Turks came they did not want to live in the village and so it was looted and abandoned. Interesting to see. ... Swimming in the water was amazing as the temperature was perfect. After our 1st swim, I claimed a nice corner of the boat to sit for the day, read my book, sip some tea and watch the coast line. I wasn't a complete anti social, I did partake in some fun conversations out on deck, but I'm not a fan of too much sun, so I enjoyed being on my own for a bit. We lunched on the way but by the time we came into Sarsola at 4.30 pm the rain lashed down but the luxury of the covered deck allowed us to enjoy our G&Ts in comfort while watching the rain.
